The largest private jet in the Bombardier fleet, the Challenger 850. The long flight range (2811 nm / 5206 km) combined with high cruise speeds of Mach 0.8 and Rockwell Collins airliner engines means this is a great charter choice for TransAtlantic and Overseas Flights.
The Bombardier Challenger 850 is the largest super-midsize business aircraft offered by Bombardier Aerospace. It is based on Bombardier's 50-seat CRJ200LR. The Bombardier Challenger 850 is the updated, current version, derived from the Bombardier CRJ200 airliner. This aircraft is capable of accommodating 15–19 passengers. The Bombardier Challenger 850 obtained Airworthiness Certification from the General Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates in December 2010. It was showcased at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland, in May 2011. The Challenger 850’s spacious interior can seat about 16 passengers in its three-zone cabin. With 1,625 cubic feet of volume, the stand-up cabin is nearly 50 feet long, over 8 feet wide, and 6.1 feet high. It features both a forward and aft lavatory, 202 cubic feet of baggage capacity, and a large galley equipped with an oven, refrigerator, and microwave. The cabin can be configured in four different ways: Baseline, Executive 1, Executive 2, and Executive 3.
