The Bombardier Challenger 650 was launched in 2014 and made its debut the following year. As the latest successor in the Challenger 600 series, the CL 650 replaced the CL 605. NetJets received its first Challenger 650 in December 2016, marking the delivery of the thousandth aircraft from the 600 series. The Bombardier Challenger 650 is powered by two General Electric CF34-3B engines, each providing 8,729 pounds of thrust and consuming a combined 227 gallons per hour (GPH). The aircraft features low swept wings with winglets, giving it a sleek appearance, and a new tail-cone with a tapered angular end, distinct from the 604. Its cabin, with a volume of 1,146 cubic feet, seats up to nine passengers. The avionics suite is similar to the 605 but includes the advanced Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 with Fusion components. The 650 has a range of 4,100 nautical miles operating under NBAA IFR with 4 passengers and full fuel.
