The Global 6000's state-of-the-art wing design, with a wingspan of 94 feet and a length of 99 feet 5 inches, offers superior aerodynamic capabilities. This design enhances performance and ensures a smoother ride compared to competitors, providing unparalleled comfort and stability at high altitudes or in turbulent weather.
The Bombardier Global 6000, an enhanced version of the Global Express XRS, began production in 2012. This ultra-long-range business jet offers higher cruise speed, increased range, and improved cabin layout and lighting. The Global 6000 boasts a range of over 6,000 nautical miles, achieved by adding a 1,486 lb fuel tank at the wing root. Bombardier's advancements in computer systems and mechanical refinements allow the Global 6000 to refuel 15 minutes faster than the original model. With the largest cabin volume of any purpose-built business aircraft, it can seat 8-19 passengers in three cabin sections. Along with the Vision flight deck, upgraded with Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics, enhances the aircraft's performance. When it first launched, the Global 6000 set a new standard with its large cabin and ability to fly non-stop from New York to Tokyo, Paris to Singapore, and Los Angeles to Sydney. This jet, originally marketed as the Global XRS, remains a leader in long-range business aviation, offering the range, comfort, and speed of an airliner without the hassle. Powered by two Rolls Royce BR710A2-20 engines producing 14,750 lbs. of force each, the Global 6000 carries 8 passengers on an NBAA IFR range of 6,000 nm.
