The King Air 100 is a longer version of the King Air 90 with seating for eight, including a four-seat club arrangement and a two-passenger divan. This aircraft is both luxurious and economical.
The King Air 100 is a stretched derivative of the Beech 90 commuter aircraft, sharing their short 45.9-ft. wingspan. But the Model 100 aircraft are upgraded with a modestly pressurized fuselage that has five round windows on each side of the main seating area, plus two smaller windows in the aft cabin. Versatility is the King Air 100's virtue. For passenger use, cabins typically are configured with 6-7 passenger seats, plus a belted lavatory. With seats removed, the King Air 100 4,000+ lb. useful load enables it to carry plenty of cargo or work as a medevac airplane. The aircraft has a very wide center of gravity loading envelope, in part because of its wide span, trim-able horizontal stabilizer shared with the Beech 99.
