The Citation Ultra is an award winning aircraft that provides seating for two crew and up to eight passengers. The stylish and aerodynamic cabin design gives this luxury jet it's modern feel.
In 1993, Cessna Aircraft Company decided to update the Citation V design, and announced the Citation Ultra. It was granted certification in June 1994. The Citation Ultra is powered by two Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5D engines with 3045 lbs of thrust, which allows for a climb rate of 4,100 feet per minute. The avionics suite was updated to the Honeywell Primus 1000 EFIS glass cockpit. In 1994, the Ultra was named Flying Magazine's "Best Business Jet." The cabin volume is 310 cubic feet, which usually includes seven to eight passenger seats, two crew seats, a lavatory, folding tables and refreshment centers.
