The Airbus A320 makes business travel easier and more productive by combining size and comfort with a 2700 nautical miles range and 454 mph cruising speed. Various models and configurations are available to meet your travel needs.
Developed in 1984, the world-renowned Airbus A320 has formed a reputation as the most comfortable short-to-medium-haul aircraft. It first flew on February 22, 1987, and was first delivered in April 1988 to Air France. Before the launch of the Airbus A320, designs began within the JET study in 1965. The project was re-designated in 1981, with Airbus and Delta Airlines collaborating on the new airliner. Up to 150 seats can be configured within the Airbus A320 cabin, and the aircraft can travel 5,280 nm. With the widest single-aisle cabin and a variety of seating configurations, passengers can travel with comfort. Airbus developed various technological advancements that paved the way for innovation in mass production jetliners. Its fly-by-wire feature, usually incorporated in high-performance fighter jets, uses computers to interpret the pilot's input to the aircraft controls. Prior to this, jetliners used cables to relay controls. The A320 also introduced flight envelope protection, which prevents the aircraft from extending its performance limits.
